THE ISRAEL MUSEUM REOPENS

The Museum of Israel reopens
The long anticipated opening of the completely revamped Israel Museum took place on a warm evening in Jerusalem on Sunday 25th July.  Museum Director James Snyder hosted the dedication ceremony attended by President Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and four hundred other distinguished guests.

The $100 million revamp which doubled the exhibition space is the largest single philanthropic effort ever undertaken by a single museum in Israel with Mr Snyder going on to explain that this will be "many museums under a single roof".

New United Kingdom Patent Application No 1000447.1 is a method of providing an integrated lighting, labelling and AV experience within a display case.

Content is created in a software package such as PowerPoint, which is then projected into the case using an LCD projector.

THE EXHIBITION SPACE OF THE FUTURE

 The Exhibition Space of the Future
The conference, "The Exhibition Space of the Future", will be held on the 9th December 2010 at the Hochhauser Auditorium, V&A Museum, in London. The conference is dedicated to the changing face of exhibition galleries at the beginning of this century.

The conference aims to look forward at new designs and techniques, which are currently being used across the world through a number of interesting presentations.
