Evolution 2 is here!
We are delighted to announce the arrival of the TESS Evolution 2 case.  Demountable and modular as before, but featuring sleek, surface-bonded glass panel technology and improved conservation properties; as well as options for LED lighting, concealed locks, a slimmer top profile, concealed power conduit, improved shelving system, and much, much more.

As with our existing Evolution, the case allows the end-user to assemble, dismantle and move the cases themselves without expert assistance.

The first prototype of Evolution 2 was created in time for us to display at the M+H Show in London last week; and we anticipate it will be ready to release to market in around 12 weeks.

In addition to this, we have also introduced Evolution 2's chic big sister, the Inca 6 Demountable. These cases are made to measure (rather than modular) to suit your specific requirements, and therefore can be produced to any size and even in multi-bay format. And crucially for wider cases, the Inca 6 Demountable has options for pull and slide doors, as opposed to a hinged-only opening. The case features a larger light hood for more lighting and light source options; and there is no limit on colour, finish, glass type etc.

Get in touch with for more information on either of these cases.

Our Commercial Manager, Grant Hawthorne with a client on our stand at the M+H Show
May was a bumper month for exhibitions; and we found ourselves in London at the Museums + Heritage Show, in Baltimore at the American Alliance of Museums' Annual Meeting and MuseumExpo, in Canberra for the 2013 Museums Australia National Conference, and in Moscow for the 15th International 'Intermuseum' Festival.

Our presence at the Museums + Heritage show was greater than normal this year, because as well as our own stand we decided to take a stand for our sister company, TESS Demountable, which we don't do every year.  Not only this, but we also provided display cases for both the Touring Exhibitions Group (TEG) stand and for W.G. Pollard's stand.

We attend these exhibitions annually, finding them to be not only great for catching up with clients, old friends and industry colleagues; but also a fabulous opportunity to connect with new people and hear about the latest happenings within the industry.  In addition to this, these exhibitions provide a wonderful platform for launching new products; something which we did at the Museums + Heritage Show this year with our new range of conservation-grade storage products.

The portacabin in our back yard on a particularly sunny day!
As we are enjoying such a successful year, we've recently taken on a whole host of extra staff including numerous Project Designers.  The additional Designers have been essential for us in order to keep up with the increasingly high volume of drawings we're turning out for our clients.

We now have so many staff that we can't fit them all under our roof, and as such have introduced a portacabin into our back yard to accommodate the extra working space required.  Fear not however, the portacabin will make for a very comfortable working environment; equipped with electricity, heating, carpets & blinds; and is now housing our team of Project Managers.

It's great to be so busy, and we look forward to taking on several more substantial projects in the not-too-distant future.
