Protecting Valuable Exhibits is so Essential

20/09/2011

I read on BBC news today that a necklace once belonging to a passenger on the Titanic has been stolen from an exhibition in Denmark.┬áThe gold-plated necklace was part of a temporary display of artefacts from the ill-fated ocean liner at Copenhagen’s Tivoli park.

The story can be read here.

This is such a good example of why it’s vitally important to protect priceless exhibits with a high quality, museum-standard, alarmed glass showcase. ┬áThe consequences of not doing so can be unthinkable, as staff at Tivoli Park are finding out now.

As well as our permanent range of showcases, ClickNetherfield has a subsidiary company called TESS Demountable who specialise in cases for touring and temporary exhibitions.
