Annual Conference – Details Announced

06/10/2011

Following on from the acclaimed opening of the Museum of Liverpool earlier on this year, we have decided to base this year’s conference around the processes involved in successfully planning and running a major museum project.  Attendance is a must for anyone planning a refurbishment or new-build project for their museum, no matter how small their project. This conference will offer sound advice and tips on what to do and also what not to do in order to ensure your project is a success.

Entitled “Planning and Running a Successful Museum Project”, the event will take place on Wednesday 14th December at Merseyside Maritime Museum, Liverpool.

We are delighted to have Sharon Granville, Project Director of the Museum of Liverpool, on board as keynote speaker; and David Fleming, Director of National Museums Liverpool, will be giving the welcome for the day.  Delegates will also be invited on an exclusive guided tour of the brand new Museum of Liverpool.

Your hosts for this event will be ClickNetherfield, world leaders in showcase design and fabrication. Experts in their respective fields will support the event, with presentations on the key areas of planning and running a major museum project successfully.  These experts include Haley Sharpe Design, Patton Heritage, Turner & Townsend Cost Management, and of course ClickNetherfield.

To book a place at our conference, please visit our events website or contact Lesley on l.weir@clicknetherfield.com.

We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible, but book now as places are filling up fast!
