National Museum Unveils Dramatic Transformation

The National Museum of Scotland opened its doors in July after undergoing a £47.4m makeover. Architects, Gareth Hoskins, alongside exhibition designers, Ralph Appelbaum executed the ambitious three-year overhaul. ClickNetherfield was contracted by fit-out specialists, Beck Interiors to design and manufacture 168 showcases over 15 of the new galleries at the museum.

The £72m Museum of Liverpool finally opened to the public yesterday. The 8,000 square metre building is the largest purpose-built museum in Britain for more than a century, and expects to attract 750,000 visitors every year.

Design Award for the Arctic Studies Center

Designer, Ralph Appelbaum Associates has won a Silver IDEA in the category of ‘Environments’ in the 2011 International Design Excellence Awards for their design of the Smithsonian Arctic Studies Center at Alaska’s Anchorage Museum. ClickNetherfield are proud to have played an integral role in this high profile project.

The Bluebell Railway Museum Opens

The Bluebell Railway Museum was officially opened at Sheffield Park station on Thursday last week. ClickNetherfield provided a total of 17 showcases for the museum, a mixture of Prisms, Monos, and Incas.
