The £72m Museum of Liverpool finally opened to the public yesterday. The 8,000 square metre building is the largest purpose-built museum in Britain for more than a century, and expects to attract 750,000 visitors every year.

Designer, Ralph Appelbaum Associates has won a Silver IDEA in the category of ‘Environments’ in the 2011 International Design Excellence Awards for their design of the Smithsonian Arctic Studies Center at Alaska’s Anchorage Museum. ClickNetherfield are proud to have played an integral role in this high profile project.

The Bluebell Railway Museum was officially opened at Sheffield Park station on Thursday last week. ClickNetherfield provided a total of 17 showcases for the museum, a mixture of Prisms, Monos, and Incas.

ClickNetherfield recently supplied showcases for the Titanic Exhibition at the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum, which is currently running to mark the 100th anniversary of the launch of the ill-fated ship.

ClickNetherfield have recently completed design and installation of thirteen high quality showcases at the Galway City Museum.

ClickNetherfield is busy preparing to exhibit at the Museums & Heritage Show 2011, which is taking place on 11th and 12th May at Earl’s Court in London.

In a bid to reduce our overall energy consumption, ClickNetherfield have recently employed the use of specialised new energy monitoring software.

Bradford Cathedral is currently hosting an exhibition of historic English Bibles. The exhibition of Bibles published in 1605, 1611 and 1616 is accompanied by illustrated posters from Sheffield University explaining the history of Bible publication in English.
