Location: Princeton University Art Museum / Designer: Studio Joseph / Fit-Out: Kubik Maltbie
The Princeton University Art Museum has undergone a major redevelopment to create a world-class cultural destination for art, research and public engagement. Click Netherfield crafted 15 display cases across seven galleries, along with matching UFO lighting for three cases. Following an early prototype phase and review in October 2023, we delivered the full project between December 2023 and January 2025.
The period between completion in January and the museum’s public opening on 31 October 2025 allowed for careful dressing and fit-out of case interiors, as well as the sequenced installation and presentation of artwork and objects followed by light direction and focusing, ensuring each display could be presented to the highest standard.
Working closely with Studio Joseph and the museum team, our designers developed tailored solutions, earning strong praise for collaboration and creativity. On site, we coordinated seamlessly with Kubik Maltbie and alongside Goppion, ensuring a unified installation approach.
The Princeton University Art Museum was formally founded in 1882, and now boasts a collection of over 117,000 works spanning ancient to contemporary art.
