The Harris underwent a major transformation before reopening its doors in September 2025, marking a new chapter in its long and distinguished history. The restoration project not only preserved the building’s iconic architecture, it also reimagined the museum as a vibrant community, cultural and learning hub designed for 21st-century audiences.
We’re immensely proud to have played a key role in this remarkable project. Our team was entrusted with the design, manufacture and installation of 60 museum showcases – crafted to both protect and beautifully present some of The Harris’s most treasured collections.
Installing these showcases was no ordinary task – thanks to AMC Crane Hire, we successfully lifted massive glass panels to the museum’s second floor, ensuring every piece was installed smoothly and safely.
