Our Social Value Commitment

At Click Netherfield, we are committed to creating meaningful social value through the way we support our people, develop future talent and contribute to the communities in which we operate.

We believe social value should be practical and measurable, and we ensure that it is embedded within our everyday activities.

We take pride in investing in our employees and supporting apprenticeships, as well as donating museum showcases and providing practical assistance to local organisations; we use our expertise, resources and time to create positive, lasting impact beyond the products we deliver.

Our employees are at the heart of our business, and we are committed to creating a fair, supportive and inclusive workplace.

We operate an Employee Benefit Trust (EBT), enabling employees to share in the success of the business, and are proud to be a Living Wage Employer. We support employee wellbeing through our company-funded Wellbeing Committee, access to the YuLife wellbeing platform and fully subsidised healthy meals.

Flexible working arrangements, family-focused initiatives and an employee-led Social Committee further support work-life balance, engagement and a strong sense of community within our workforce.

We are committed to developing the next generation of manufacturing and engineering talent through apprenticeships, work experience, placements and educational engagement.

We work with local colleges and training providers to create accessible routes into industry, while educational visits and open days provide students and young people with insight into careers across manufacturing, engineering and the wider museum sector.

We are also developing partnerships with educational institutions, including West Lothian College, to provide students with live project briefs and real-world challenges that help develop practical skills and workplace readiness.

Where possible, we aim to create long-term career opportunities for those who engage with our programmes, with previous participants progressing into permanent employment with Click Netherfield.

As a specialist museum showcase manufacturer, we use our expertise and products to support organisations that may otherwise have limited access to professional exhibition equipment.

Each year, we donate at least two museum-grade display cases to schools, educational institutions, heritage projects and community organisations. These donations help organisations present collections and artefacts to a professional standard while supporting education, cultural engagement and heritage preservation.

We actively contribute to our local community through charitable giving, sponsorship and practical support.

Our initiatives include sponsorship of grassroots children’s sport, employee fundraising activities and annual charitable donations supporting local and national causes.

We also make our resources available to community organisations where practical. This includes providing company vehicles to groups such as Scouts and community gala organisers, alongside access to our professional printing facilities for signage, graphics and display materials.

By sharing our resources and expertise, we help reduce costs for community organisations and enable them to deliver activities and events that benefit local residents.

Through these initiatives, we contribute to:

  • Fair employment and financial wellbeing
  • Improved employee health, wellbeing and engagement
  • Skills development and increased employability
  • Apprenticeship and career opportunities for future talent
  • Stronger links between education and industry
  • Greater access to cultural and heritage resources
  • Increased participation in grassroots sport
  • Support for charities and community organisations
  • Reduced costs for voluntary and community groups
  • Stronger, more connected local communities

Social value is an ongoing commitment at Click Netherfield. We will continue to invest in our people, support future talent, share our expertise and resources, and work with local organisations to identify opportunities where we can make a positive difference.

We regularly review our social value activities to measure their impact and identify opportunities for further improvement, ensuring our contribution continues to deliver meaningful benefits for our employees, our partners and the communities around us.
