A brand new, 70,000 square foot Robert A.M. Stern-designed building was purpose built to house the University of Notre Dame’s marquis collections. Consisting of 23 galleries and numerous site-specific commissions, the RMMA opened to the public in December 2023.
Click Netherfield designed, engineered, fabricated and installed over 90 bespoke showcases throughout a dozen galleries across three floors of exhibition space within the Raclin Murphy Museum of Art. Housing over 30,000 artefacts, the project required extensive coordination between showcase systems, exhibition fit-out contractors, mount makers, lighting designers and surrounding gallery architecture from the earliest design and prototype stages.
A highlight of our work on this project featured a full team prototype review at our facility in Livingston, Scotland, which is pictured below.
