We were delighted to win the contract to supply showcases for the Roman Britain gallery following a competitive evaluation programme. The evaluation trials covered technical features, quality of construction, design support, security and environmental sealing performance.
We were delighted to win the contract to supply showcases for the Roman Britain gallery following a competitive evaluation programme. The evaluation trials covered technical features, quality of construction, design support, security and environmental sealing performance.
The British Museum's cases specification incorporated as standard most of the features normally regarded as options. These include lockable steel plinths; low-iron content glass; individually switched dimmable fluoresent and fibre optic lighting; multi-point locking for each door; linear bearings for door extensions; separate access for conditioning equipment; locking case lids with gas strut support and fully encapsulated dress and structural panels.
