In 2006 we were part of the team that renovated the halifax bank of Scotland (HBOS) museum in Edinburgh.

The museum, part of HBOS' landmark headquarters complex on The Mound, brings together the histories of two companies: Bank of Scotland - Scotland's first and oldest bank, and the Halifax Building Society.

The museum is an intriguing exploration of money in all its shapes and forms. It explores the politics, the trials and the tribulations of the business of banking.

We produced a range of unique showcases, which needless to say had to meet a very high security specification. As well as this high level of security, we had to comply with stringent environmental standards, as many of the exhibits are extremely fragile and sensitive. We worked closely with Studio SP to ensure a successful development of unique solutions for these galleries. Tim Pethick, from Studio SP, commented "We value and enjoy working with ClickNetherfield as they respond excellently and efficiently to these challenges and have an excellent awareness of new and emerging technologies; working with them, as at Museum on the Mound for HBOS, we as designers can ensure we stay a step ahead and give the client that little bit more".
