The history of the future
Four stunning galleries displaying iconic milestones in our scientific and technological development.
We have had a long and successful association with the Science Museum and have worked on many of their stunning galleries.
Making the Modern World
This unique, breathtaking gallery chronologically presents 150 of the most significant items from the Science Museum's collections from 1750 to 2000. You'll find such iconic items as Stephenson's original Rocket locomotive, Babbage's Difference Engine No. 1 and Crick and Watson's DNA model.
The Challenge of Materials gallery
The Challenge of Materials gallery is home to a whole range of fascinating objects. You'll discover historic gems such as Egyptian glass sitting alongside state-of-the-art materials including a cardboard chair and a steel wedding dress.
Talking Points (Wellcome Wing) Beautiful, awe-inspiring or controversial, these are a stunning series of thought provoking exhibits and they raise questions about the influence modern science is having on us and the world we live in. Featuring contemporary art pieces created by leading artists, these demountable cases became the forerunner to Tess Evolution.
Who am I? Gallery
Is all about your favourite subject: you! This exhibition examines how modern science is transforming our understanding of what it means to be human. The cases are custom designed with special door mechanism and lighting in the base.
"The sheer size of the cases could have caused a lot of problems, but our custom glass handling machinery did the job easily"
