Takayama Glass Museum is a privately funded building occupying a prominent position on a mountain top overlooking the village of Hida Takayama in Japan

The museum houses a collection of more than 1300 glass works or art as well as complete period room sets with relevant furniture. Many of the objects are unique and fragile and required careful housing to allow public access.
